Vintage GALCO Gunsite Brown Leather OWB Holster For Colt 45 1911 5" Government

This unique open-top holster has been designed specifically to meet the special needs of women and is ideal for use on training courses and shooting ranges. It provides a lower positioning of the holster body to accommodate the shape of the woman's hip and helps prevent discomfort in the rib cage or breast area. The Lady Gunsite holster features a wedge which allows the pistol to be articulated in a perpendicular direction to the hip which helps prevent women from performing a side bend draw, but allows for a combat grip accessibility with a smooth and comfortable straight vertical draw. In addition, the front of the holster is cut low in design to allow for easier clearance of the pistol from leather.

The holster also features sewn-in leather sight rails, intemal reinforcement for shape retention, two independent vertical tension screws for precision adjustment and custom fit, and Gunsite logo on the front of the holster.

It is available in right-and left-handed designs, in tan or black finish.

With a belt slot plug, this holster will fit a 1 1/2" belt and, with belt slot plug removed, will ft belts up to 21/4".
