Vintage Chic Gaylord Q-4 Dragoon Cross Draw Holster For S&W K22 6” Right

Vintage Chic Gaylord, brown horsehide leather Q-4 Dragoon holster. This is Right draw for the Smith & Wesson K22 Combat Masterpiece 6”. This is a cross draw holster worn on Left side for a Right handed shooter. Holster pivots downward for an easy draw. Loop will fit a belt up to 1 1/2”. Leather, stitching and hardware in excellent condition.

A-4 Dragoon is the only practical holster for all of the long-barreled heavy frame revolvers.

Even S&W's .357 Magnum with the 8%" barrel can be drawn with amazing speed from this holster. The Dragoon is made to be worn on belts of from 1½" to 3" in width as specified.

RECOMMENDED QUICK-DRAW METHOD TO BE USED WITH THESE CROSS-DRAW HOLSTERS

A. Twist your body quickly to the right as your hand passes beyond the holstered weapon in the first phase of a smooth continuous motion. B. Bring your extended hand back across the holster in a swiping motion, your fingers releasing the retaining strap as the heel of your palm pushes the butt of the gun, causing it to drop down into your hand with the trigger guard exposed. C. As you grip the gun, twist your body back again towards the left, carrying the holster away as you draw the weapon from it. D. When the holster has cleared the gun, your weapon is already pointed in the direction towards which you are shooting. A few minutes daily practice in this method will make any shooter an exceptionally fast man on the draw!
