Vintage Rogers / Alpha Plastics Inc. hybrid paddle holster. Holster is plastic with suede leather. Holster is front break paddle holster with suede leather lining and retention strap.This is for a Smith & Wesson Model 39 or 59 Round Trigger. First Rogers we have run across for the 39 / 59. Very cool unique vintage holster from the early 1970's. Certainly a few decades ahead of his time. Safariland purchased this company on more than one occasion for their cutting edge Kydex designs. The Rogers Holster Company founded in 1973 by former FBI Agent, William H. Rogers. The Rogers Holster Company was responsible for many innovative holster and military/police equipment designs and supplied many major police departments with the first modern “Security Holsters”. In the late 70’s all law enforcement in the country of Canada adopted the Rogers’ “Boss” revolver holster. In 1985 the original Rogers Holster Co. was purchased in order to obtain numerous holster designs and the Thermo-laminate technology to produce plastic formed holsters.
