Rare,Vintage 1970's Bianchi 9R Upside Down Shoulder Holster. This holster is for a Smith & Wesson K frame .357 medium frame revolver up to 2 1/2" and is right draw. Both harness and back strap are both adjustable. Leather, stitching and hardware all in nice condition..
This early rig is very difficult to find for the medium frame revolver. Most of these we run across are for the smaller S&W Chiefs Special or Colt Cobra.
This Special Agent shoulder holster is the most practical way to carry a short barrel revolver. The rig is small and comfortable; It positions the gun close under the arm. This model is particularly popular with detectives, under cover agents and military personnel. The holster features a special heavy duty spring which securely holds the gun in place. It is held there by a tension spring under the most vigorous conditions; however, when the gun is drawn, it comes out quickly and smoothly.
