New Old Stock Don Hume Same Brown 2 1/4" police duty belt. Belt is plain black with 4 row stitching, full leather lining, with 1" Hook and loop strip fur securing to under belt and Nickel Buckle. This is a top shelf gun belt design Don Hume no longer offers. If you would prefer Brass please message after purchase.
Belt is a Size 40 measuring 38 1/2" to the first setting and 44 1/2" to last setting. This is new old stock and much higher quality leather than what is offered today from a new production belt..
4 ROW STITCH SAM BROWNE BELT
The belt is made from the finest top-grain leather available. By laminating two pieces of 6/7 oz. cowhide, maximum durability is obtained. The edges are dressed to a smooth finish and the lining is specially treated to prevent the absorption of moisture.
This is new old stock from when Don Hume owned and operated the company. This stock has been in climate controlled conditions for 20+ years. The quality of the leather, materials and craftsmanship are head and shoulders above what is available on todays market.
**Very Important Information**
When ordering a duty belt, if being worn over another belt or under belt you will need a belt 2" larger than your true belt size. To determine your size measure the trouser belt you wear from the leather end prior to buckle to the setting you wear your belt at. Once you have that figure add 2" to that. Do Not assume your current duty belt has not stretched several inches..
