Vintage Bedell Rogers western loop style holster. Holster is hand floral carved leather. Holster is smooth leather lined with loop for a belt up to 2 1/4". Holster is Right draw for 1 4" S&W 4" K frame revolver such as a Model 10, 12, 15, 19 or similar.

Western gun belt also made by Bedell Rogers is hand floral carved, 2" wide and full leather lined. Belt is a size 40 measuring 39" to the first setting and 43 1/2" to the last setting. It appears as though the last 3 settings were added by previous owner. Buckle is nickel plated solid brass and can be removed if you were looking to add a more ornate buckle..

Very rare rig to find and difficult to find any vintage gun belt in a larger size like this.

L.A Sessums provided holsters for The Texas Rangers. Sessums was not a holster maker and had his holsters made by Robert F.E. Rogers. then later by Roger's son Bedell Rogers. Bedell Rogers holsters made under his name are very collectible and display a lot of ingenuity such as internal protector that prevents the magazine release button from depressing and releasing the magazine while holstered. Bedell and his father opened their own shop sometime in 1947 and Bedell Rogers retired in 1997. I would expect this holster is from his early days. Bedell Rogers has his work in the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame..
