Vintage Rogers / Alpha Plastics Inc. hybrid holster. Holster is plastic with suede leather. Holster is break front with leather tabbing, lining and retention strap.Very cool unique vintage holster from the early 1970's. Certainly a few decades ahead of his time. Safariland purchased this company on more than one occasion for their cutting edge Kydex designs. This is for a Smith & Wesson J frame revolver 2"..
The Rogers Holster Company founded in 1973 by former FBI Agent, William H. Rogers. The Rogers Holster Company was responsible for many innovative holster and military/police equipment designs and supplied many major police departments with the first modern “Security Holsters”. In the late 70’s all law enforcement in the country of Canada adopted the Rogers’ “Boss” revolver holster. In 1985 the original Rogers Holster Co. was purchased in order to obtain numerous holster designs and the Thermo-laminate technology to produce plastic formed holsters.
