Cold War Era, Military U.S. Air Force brown leather belt holster with original nylon tie down, designed by Norris Murray. Patent was granted Jan. 1958. Murray was employed by the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson. These were manufactured by MILSCO, formerly known as Milwaukee Saddlery and Service MFG Yonkers NY. This holster was produced in brown and black leather Stamped USAF. Brown being more difficult to find. Brown was reportedly issued to Air America crews working for the C.I.A. often, without markings of its origin.
Holster is in excellent condition. Free of any stamping or makers mark. Stitching and hardware and original tie down in excellent condition. Harness is adjustable and also in very nice condition. There is one area with light surface cracks seen in last photo. This is for the M13 S&W Aircrewman Revolver or 2" Model 10 K frame revolver.
