Vintage Brown Leather Aircrewman Military Style Revolver Holster M13 RIG

Cold War Era, brown leather shoulder holster designed by Norris Murray. Patent was granted Jan. 1958. Murray was employed by the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson. These were manufactured by MILSCO, formerly known as Milwaukee Saddlery. This holster was produced in brown and black leather. Brown being more difficult to find. Brown was issued to Air America crews working for the C.I.A.
The holster is the same size as a military Issue Aircrewman holster in our inventory. This holster is not stamped USAF nor does it have a NSN. Inside flap is a pistol SN 779836 which is also lightly written at front bottom corner below the snaps. You can see this in last two photos. Only other markings is RAU FASTENER CO. PROV RI. on backside of male portion of the snap. Harness is adjustable. Leather, stitching and hardware all in very nice condition. this is only the second one of these we have the opportunity to come across. This would fit a M13 Aircrewman..
